Ola Ray started a career in skinema as Hooker #1 in Body and Soul (1981), where she bared boobs and butt in a group sex scene. Ola then appeared as yet more hookers in both 48 Hrs. (1982) and Night Shift (1982), although she managed to keep herself pretty well covered up throughout both movies. She returned to her skinful ways as one of the doomed college students in the Charles Bronson thriller 10 to Midnight (1983). Although the better part of Ola’s hooter exposure in the flick appeared while she was being murdered (and rather violently, at that), the lingering moments that led up to the homicide, which featured Ola in the shower, are well worth the entry fee. What a rack! Next Ola was tapped to play Michael Jackson‘s “girlfriend” in the classic rock video for his hit song “Thriller,” which shot her into the spotlight, at least for a little while. After a bit part in The Man Who Loved Women (1983), as well as a turn as a Playboy Playmate in the hit cop flick Beverly Hills Cop II (1987), Ola gave up her acting career in favor of more musically minded endeavors. She’s got the lungs for it! After 28 years, Ola returned to the screen in the short film Toy Soldier (2015), and followed that up with roles in It Wants Blood! (2019) and Shooting Heroin (2020). Hopefully this means that she’ll return to skinema in the not too distant future. It’s our only Ray of hope.
